The 2011 MTV European Music Awards (MTV EMAs) has two new performers in Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars who will sing at the November 6 show which takes place in Belfast, Ireland. In the Selena Gomez-hosted event, besides Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, there are a lot of famous faces performing including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Jason Derulo, Jessie J, and LMFAO. Presenters include MTV stars Snooki and JWoww from "Jersey Shore," as well as "Awkward" actress Ashley Rickards.
Lady Gaga leads this year’s EMA with six nominations: Best Female, Best Live Act, Best Pop Act, Best Song and Best Video for “Born This Way.” Gaga is also up for the “Biggest Fans” awards. On the other hand, Bruno Mars scored the most nominations for a male artist with four including Best Song and Best Pop Song for his hit Grenade as well as Best Male performer and Best New Artist. Adele, Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds to Mars, each took home with three. Other big nominees include Beyoncé, Foo Fighters, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, My Chemical Romance, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Far East Movement, Wiz Khalifa, Linkin Park and Kings of Leon.
