Ahead of this important period when currently leading the Republican polls, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain hit the headlines this week as going on the offensive against allegations that he sexually harassed two women, two female employees more than a decade ago, the time he served as president of the National Restaurant Association. It is interesting to find down the reason why until now, the rumors of Herman Cain’s sexual harassment arose. According to Politico, the women complained about inappropriate behavior by Herman Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable. They reportedly received settlements in return for signing non-disclosure agreements.
However, in responding to the accusations in question earlier in the day, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO affirms: "I have never sexually harassed anyone and those accusations are totally false ... It was concluded, after a thorough investigation, that it had no basis." He added, "I am unaware of any sort of settlement." Herman Cain said he was actually unaware of any settlement that had been reached. "I hope it wasn't for much because I didn't do anything," he said. Several hours later, Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain changed his explanation in an interview with Fox News, saying he did not know a second woman had filed a complaint and that one woman received "maybe three months' salary."
