NRJ Music Awards 2013: One Direction are dressed in coordinated black and brown outfits

British boy band One Direction were spotted attending the 2013 NRJ Music Awards at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France on Saturday night (January 26). The teen idols including Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Niall Horan showed up at the ceremony in coordinated black and brown outfits. The boys seemed to be in playful moods as they posed for cameras on the red carpet. As one of big winners at the 2013 NRJ Music Awards, UK group One Direction took home the prize for International Group or Duo of the Year after beating out Maroon 5, Carly Rae Jepsen, Coldplay and Owl City. "I have to say massive thank you to our French fans. We wouldn't be here without you. Our French record label is absolutely amazing. We don't speak French. Obviously, we weren't born here. To be welcomed in this country is amazing, so thank you so much," Harry Styles spoke in the acceptance speech. The guys of One Direction also performed their hit “Kiss You” at the star-studded ceremony, which saw the performances from Korean chart sensation Spy, “Call Me Maybe” hitmaker Carly Rae Jepsen and Harry Styles’ ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

One Direction added another award to a growing collection of accolades as they won the award for Best International Group at the 2013 NRJ Music Awards. The band’s numerous awards include prizes from the 2013 People's Choice Awards, the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, the 2012 Brit Awards, the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards and the 2012 Bambi Awards. Other winners were Bruno Mars for International Male Artist of the Year and Carly Rae Jepsen for International Breakthrough of the Year.

Liam Payne and girlfriend Danielle Peazer were pictured wandering around the VIP backstage area at the 2012 V Festival at Hylands Park in Essex, England on Saturday afternoon (August 18, 2012). The loved-up couple strolled hand-in-hand and spent quality time together, looking so comfortable and relaxed. Liam’s girlfriend Danielle seemed to be loved up as ever with him. The dancer dressed casually in a vest and short denim cut-offs. She accessorized with heavy duty boots and sunglasses, looking extremely pretty. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, one fifth of One Direction and “What makes you beautiful” singer Liam Payne, sported a T-shirt, grey denim shorts, white Converse trainers and dark sunglasses. The cute pair were spotted laughing and joking with one another very happily, and the One Direction star even ordered ice-cream for his girlfriend as they walked around the backstage together.

The lovebirds look comfortable and relaxed while wandering around the VIP backstage area to enjoy their quality time. Meanwhile, another piece of One Direction Louis Tomlinson and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder are also spotted taking full advantage of the free drinks in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge.

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Danielle Peazer is an English dancer and has been working in the commercial dance industry since 2007. She has danced for many artists such as JLS, Jessie J, Leona Lewis, Kylie, Taio Cruz and LMFAO. Apart from being a professional dancer, Danielle is a part-time model as well.

Chilling out in the baking August sun at the 2012 V Festival, Liam Payne and Danielle Claire Peazer are pictured cuddling in the public area, not appearing to mind the prying eyes surrounding them.

The beautiful couple meet in 2010 on The X Factor while Liam Payne is a contestant and  Danielle Peazer is a background dancer.

One Direction take the stage at the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony (Pictures & Video)

Britain's boy band of the moment One Direction joined a prestigious list and sang their hearts out at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London, England. The five-piece band performed for billions of people and a worldwide audience at what has to have been the biggest gig of their lives on Sunday, August 12, 2012.

Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson burst into the Olympic Stadium to treat the thousands gathered for the ceremony to a performance of their self-esteem boosting hit “What Makes You Beautiful.” The five lads had everyone up on their feet singing along for the show-stopping performance. The X factor stars were fourth on the bill during the historic event and they took to the stage after The Pet Shop Boys.

One Direction joined the Olympic lineup with some of Britain’s best known and most loved musical stars on Sunday night, August 12, 2012. Their addition to the star-studded lineup placed them alongside fellow teenybopper favorites Jessie J and Ed Sheeran.

The five lads stood on top of an extended lorry as they delivered a shortened version of their worldwide smash single ‘What Makes You Beautiful.’

Surprisingly, the boys carried off their performance with ease and confidence. Thanks God that none of them fell or pushed each other off.

Harry Styles wore a blue shirt / grey jacket combo and white Converse trainers as he sang in the middle.

Zayn Malik rocked a black trilby hat and blue skinny trousers. His solo segment was well delivered.

Niall Horan and Liam Payne both wore white shirts as they put an arm around one another and savoured the once in a lifetime moment.

Niall Horan tweeted after the performance: "Omg that was unbelievable,highlight of out career, and the biggest audience we will ever play to 1 billion people! #ThankYouLondon2012"

Louis Tomlinson went for the more casual look with a blue top and beige trousers.

One Direction tacked on another huge accomplishment as the boy band took center stage at the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony.
